A noticeable chill will be in the air early Monday and into the early part of the week after a cold front moves through metro Atlanta.

Instead of the 80-plus-degree weather of recent days, the highs Monday will be in the upper 60s, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz. Nighttime temperatures will drop into the upper 40s by Monday morning, Nitz said.

Expect “mid to upper 40s tomorrow morning everywhere but the city of Atlanta, and even there it will be 50 degrees,” said Nitz. “We’ll get into the 40s by Tuesday morning, but then we’ll warm back into the 70s for the rest of the week.”
