A man wearing a ski mask robbed a CVS in Canton Saturday morning, and police believe this same suspect is responsible for a string of other CVS store armed robberies.

At about 7:30 a.m. Saturday, the suspect, brandishing a handgun, forced two CVS employees at the CVS Pharmacy on Highway 92 at Woodstock Road in Acworth to a back room to open a safe, according to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then forced the two female employees into a store bathroom before fleeing.

The two employees were the only people in the store at the time. Investigators believe this suspect is also responsible for two other robberies at CVS stores which include a December 2014 robbery at the Sixes Road CVS and a January armed robbery at the Hickory Flat Highway CVS.

Anyone who may have seen anything unusual this morning around this store or recognizes the suspect is urged to call 911.
