Cherokee seeks armed robber

Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies are hunting a suspect in a Saturday morning armed robbery.

Just as a clerk opened the CVS drugstore on Bells Ferry Road near the Bridgemill subdivision, a handgun-brandishing robber entered. Deputies said he stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the store and personal items from the clerk before locking the employee in a bathroom and fleeing.
