A cab driver is facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing a 13-year-old passenger, Roswell police said.
Jose Martinez, 45, faces sexual battery charges for allegedly groping the teen on at least two occasions, Channel 2 Action News reported. The man had been hired to transport the girl and her siblings to school so their mother could go to work. The girl said that on one trip, Martinez made a lewd comment, then groped her.
The girl told Channel 2 that on another occasion, Martinez grabbed her breasts.
Roswell police said that they believe there may be more victims.
“The detective believes there are more victims out there and that they are in the Hispanic community because it’s a Hispanic taxi service,” Officer Lisa Holland told Channel 2.
