A northwest Atlanta window treatment store was hit by smash-and-grab burglars Friday for the second time this month.

According to Atlanta police dispatchers, a 911 caller reported just before 5 a.m. that three men had busted the windows to The Shade Store in the 1200 block of Howell Mill Road and stole items before driving away in a green Dodge Magnum.

The break-in came just three weeks after a similar predawn heist.

On August 1, several men took laptops and other electronic items after throwing a brick through the store’s window.

Those burglars fled in a black Honda Accord and a white Jeep Cherokee.
