One woman is injured after having to be extricated because of a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon, DeKalb County Fire Rescue confirmed.

A woman required extrication after a wreck Wednesday, authorities said.

A late-model Honda Accord was hit on the passenger side and required first responders to remove the door and pop out the dashboard to get the woman out, officials told Channel 2 Action News.

It occurred on Peachtree Road near Hermance Drive around 6 p.m., officials said. The woman was described as moderately injured.

No other details have been released yet.
