Two people were killed Saturday morning in separate wrecks in Cherokee County, authorities said.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene. He was identified late Saturday as 27-year-old John Henry Tabb IV of Marietta.

About 11:15 a.m. Saturday, a motorcyclist died in a collision with a concrete mixing truck on Arnold Mill Road at O'Hara Road.

According to the State Patrol, the motorcycle crossed the center line and hit the truck head-on, and the motorcyclist, identified as Mathew John Meyer, 52, of Woodstock, was killed on impact.

The driver and a passenger in the concrete truck were uninjured. The two wreck scenes are about a mile apart east of Woodstock.
