SACS review team recommends districtwide accreditation for Clayton

An accrediting review team has recommended that Clayton County Public Schools receive districtwide accreditation. The recommendation now goes to the National Accreditation Commission of AdvancED, the parent company of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The review team’s recommendation carries a lot of weight with the commission which meets in June. If approved, Clayton would join a half dozen other metro Atlanta schools which have earned districtwide accreditation in the last few years.
