Operations resume at Atlanta airport; unattended bag safe

Operations have resumed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport after officials determined an unattended bag was safe.
“An unattended bag was cleared ... at 1:22 p.m. today,” the airport said in a tweet. “There was minimal impact to operations.”

On Twitter, people said the road leading to the airport was blocked off with police, fire engines and dogs.
Made it to the Atlanta airport to find the arrival terminal and road leading up to it blocked off with police,fire engines and dogs. Not been told why yet

Another person tweeted that she tried to check in at the south terminal said they were moved to the international terminal.
@ATLairport what's going on in South terminal? Why is ALL of delta check in closed down? We have to take a shuttle to international terminal just to check a bag. And no one seems to be telling any of the people who are streaming in.
