Atlanta police investigated a fatal shooting Saturday morning at a Buckhead apartment complex.

Thanks to an anonymous source who chipped in $8,000, Crime Stoppers is now offering a $10,000 reward for information about two suspects who are wanted in a fatal shooting outside a Buckhead apartment complex.

Police said they’re hopeful the additional funds will encourage anyone with information about Saturday’s shooting to come forward.

Kevin Humes, 35, was killed in the incident, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officers responded to the Tremont apartments on Habersham Road just before 12:30 a.m. and discovered Humes with a gunshot wound to the chest, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Anthony Grant previously said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told officers they saw two men in a car yell, “Get him!” just before the incident, according to police. The vehicle, which was described as blue or gray, fled north on Roswell Road.

“Investigators have not confirmed a motive at this time, but are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident,” Grant said Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. Information can be sent anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online at www.StopCrimeATL.com.
