The agency Tuesday released a photo of a gray early 2000s Jeep they say is of interest in the case of Derrick Ruff and Joshua Jackson.

The photograph, taken the night that police believe Ruff and Jackson went missing on Dec. 18, was obtained from a Lawrenceville area shopping center, police said in a Facebook post.

Jackson and Ruff were last seen Dec. 18 traveling in a Ford Expedition on Habersham Drive in Athens. The Ford was found three days later abandoned in a neighborhood off Monfort Road outside of Lawrenceville.

Ruff was reported missing Dec. 20. Jackson was reported missing the next day.

Authorities have “investigated hundreds of leads,” police said.

A $1,000 Crime Stoppers reward is being offered for information that helps police find Ruff and Jackson. Officials urge anyone with information on Jackson and Ruff’s whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 706-705-4775.
