One person was killed Thursday in a crash in Forsyth County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Angela Hernandez, 28, was traveling north on Dahlonega Highway near Johnson Drive in a 2006 Ford Focus, sheriff’s spokesman Cpl. Doug Rainwater said Friday in a news release.

The Ford Focus ran off the roadway and continued through a yard before coming to a stop at a concrete barrier. Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to the scene about 10:50 a.m.
