The southbound lane of Jones Bridge Road in Johns Creek re-opened this afternoon after a gas leak, a spokesman for the north Fulton County city said.
The northbound lane remained closed between the Ray Moss Connector and Oak Landing Drive after a gas line was severed, according to Doug Nurse, Johns Creek spokesman.
Atlanta Gas Light was at the scene, late this afternoon, Nurse said.
Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes until at least 5 p.m.
