Cobb County authorities searching for missing 16-year-old boy

Cobb County authorities are searching for a missing 16-year-old boy who disappeared after jumping out of the window of a special needs school bus Friday afternoon.

Wilford Hardnett was seen walking eastbound on Dallas Highway toward Lost Mountain Park, according to the Cobb County Department of Public Safety. He may have also been seen in the area of East Paulding Drive in Paulding County.

Hardnett is described as black, just over 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans with red designs on the front and black sneakers.
