A popular restaurant in Cobb County will be closed “for the foreseeable future” after a driver crashed into the building.

A car smashed through the Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Vinings Saturday night, according to the eatery’s Facebook page.

According to the post, the driver of the car had a stroke and drove through the wall of the building.

“We had an accident tonight at the Vinings Chick but are so incredibly lucky that no one was seriously injured,” the post said.

The restaurant will remain closed while the damage is repaired.
