A woman was trapped Tuesday inside an overturned car after it crashed on Paper Mill Road near Sope Creek in east Cobb County, police spokeswoman Officer Alicia Chilton said.

The incident occurred at about 5:20 p.m.

The woman was rescued about 30 minutes later and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating how the woman’s car flipped. The victim’s name was not released.

No further details were released.
