UPDATE: Downtown streets reopen after gas line break

Crews work to repair a natural gas line break on Luckie Street in downtown Atlanta Wednesday. Luckie Street, Ivan Allen Boulevard, Simpson Street and Marietta Street are closed as a result, according to police.

Officials have given the all-clear after a natural gas line break shut down multiple streets in the heart of downtown Atlanta Wednesday afternoon.

All streets are now back open after the gas leak at 300 Luckie Street was resolved, Atlanta police said.

Baker Street at Luckie Street, Ivan Allen Boulevard at Luckie Street, and Simpson Street at Marietta Street had been closed since 11:15 a.m. The streets reopened about 1:30 p.m.
