Four members of a known street gang are now in custody and accused of robbing and assaulting a teenager in Athens in November, police said.

The 16-year-old was confronted by multiple people with guns at a home in the 100 block of Whitehead Terrace on Nov. 21, according to Athens-Clarke County police spokesman Geoffrey Gilland.

The latest arrest came Monday with the apprehension of 19-year-old Dillon Scott Brown of Athens, who was described as a “Bloods” gang member in a news release.

Earlier, police in Oconee County arrested Joshua Wells, 18, of Bogart, and a juvenile, Elijah Connor Howard. Athens police had previously arrested another juvenile, Quentin Berry.

The juveniles have been charged as adults, Gilland said, but their mug shots were not released.

Investigators are still searching for a 17-year-old male who is believed to be connected to the case.

Brown is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and violating Georgia's street gang law. The Athens Banner-Herald reported that Brown is accused of not taking action as his fellow gang members pistol-whipped the teen.

Wells is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, criminal use of an article with altered ID mark, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Court documents allege the suspects took a ski mask from the victim, the Banner-Herald reported. Police did not give a motive for the attack.

Brown and Wells both remain in jail without bond.
