Suspect arrested in luxury Florida beach town after violent traffic stop
Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly fired at police Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
There are no reports of anyone being injured in the incident, which happened near a Publix in the Sawgrass shopping center.
Police were asking people to avoid the area while their investigation continued.

SWAT teams were reportedly called in to assist in the search.
Video sent to me from a viewer of the situation near thebSawgrass Publix. He says he heard around 15 shots fired and is seeing a large deputy presence.

This individual or individuals are believed to still be armed and dangerous.
Ponte Vedra Beach is an unincorporated seaside community in St. Johns County, about 18 miles southeast of Jacksonville. It is part of the Jacksonville Beaches area.
