Two separate shootings broke out after a fight, leaving one man injured and another dead in southwest Atlanta Tuesday evening, authorities said.

One man was killed and four others were injured in four separate shootings Tuesday evening across Atlanta, authorities said.

Officers responding to a person shot call at the Greyhound station on Forsyth Street discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the chest about 5:30 p.m., Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Chafee said.

Paramedics attempted to save the man before taking him to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries. Investigators believe the fatal shooting stemmed from an argument between him and another person during an argument at the bus station.

The suspect fled the scene, Chafee said, and the name of the man killed has not been released.

Around the same time, officers were called to a second shooting in the 70 block of Newcastle Street, where they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

He was stable at the scene and taken to Grady.

Chafee said the wounded man was involved in a fight with someone he knew before the gunfire erupted. According to a police report, a group of four or five men were at the scene and ran away after the shooting.

The third shooting took place about two hours later near the North Avenue MARTA Station on West Peachtree Street. Officers responded to the area about 7:40 p.m. and discovered a man who had been shot in the shoulder. He was conscious at the scene, but uncooperative with investigators, authorities said. No further details about the incident have been released.

Later Tuesday night, two men were shot outside the popular Cascade skating rink in southwest Atlanta, police said.

One of the men was taken to Grady after being shot below his armpit, according to an Atlanta police report. Officers found a man lying on the ground in the rink’s parking lot on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive shortly after 11 p.m.

Surveillance footage showed two men were in an argument when one took out a handgun and shot the other, as well as a man who tried to intervene in the dispute, the report states. The skating rink’s manager told police he recognized the alleged shooter and was able to show an officer his Instagram page. The man left the scene in a red Mustang, police said. Officials have not announced any arrests.
