Man finds roommate dead at Gwinnett apartment, police say

A man came home to his Gwinnett County apartment Sunday to find his roommate dead, police said.

The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head about 3:45 p.m. at the Ashford Jackson Creek Apartment Homes near Norcross, according to Gwinnett police spokesman Det. David Smith.

Homicide investigators later determined the case to be a suicide.
