Two people are dead after being shot at Mac’s Lounge in Hartsville, South Carolina, according to Coroner Todd Hardee.
At least six people, including the two victims, were shot early Sunday at the lounge, according to Hardee.
Earlier Sunday, Hardee said five other people besides the two deceased had been shot and wounded. But later Sunday, Hartsville city spokeswoman Lauren Baker revised that number to four others shot and wounded.
The two killed were young men, according to Hardee. One was found outside on the patio of the bar, and the other was found inside, Hardee said.
No arrests have been made, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear, according to officials.
At least one person was in critical condition and was undergoing surgery earlier Sunday, according to WPDE reporter Tonya Brown.
The coroner said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was processing the scene.
Mac’s Lounge, 115 W. Camden Ave., also serves as a music venue, according to its Facebook page.
Hartsville is about 25 miles northwest of Florence, South Carolina, and about 40 miles south of the North Carolina state line.
