BREAKING: Alabama police officer reportedly dies after being shot
A police officer has died from injuries sustained in a shooting Tuesday night on Interstate 65 in Kimberly, Alabama, according to Fox6.

Preston Cheyenne Johnson, 37, was charged with capital murder for shooting a police officer, according to WBRC.
Johnson and three others reportedly were taken into custody near Highway 78 in Dora after 1 a.m. Wednesday, WBRC said.
U.S. Attorney Jay Town and other law enforcement officials posted on social media that the officer has died.

Johnson reportedly is being held in Jefferson County Jail on no bond, according to WBRC.
