A 32-year-old Oakwood woman reported missing Monday was found dead Saturday morning in that Hall County community, authorities said.

Holly Fox Strickland left behind her vehicle, purse and other personal belongings when she was last seen at her home Monday night in the 5500 block of Rain Tree Road, said Deputy Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Saturday, deputies responded to a call in that area and found Strickland’s body along a wood line.

The DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine how Strickland died, though the sheriff’s office said there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hall County Sheriff’s Office at 770-531-6879 or report tips anonymously at 770-503-3232.
