Federal agents Saturday were searching for a suspect who they say robbed a Best Bank inside a Kroger grocery store in DeKalb County on Saturday.
The armed robbery occurred around 3 p.m. Friday at the branch in the 6000 block of Covington Highway in Lithonia. The FBI said the man brandished a black handgun and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was reported injured in the holdup.
Agents released photos from bank surveillance cameras that show a black man age 35 to 40, about 6 feet tall and weighing 160 to 200 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark skull cap and a grey hooded sweatsuit.
