Autopsy: Hall County woman was victim of homicide

An autopsy has determined a 32-year-old Oakwood woman found dead Saturday not far from her Hall County home was the victim of a homicide.

The investigation into the death of Holly Fox Strickland, who was reported missing Feb. 3, is ongoing, Hall County officials said Tuesday.

Strickland left behind her vehicle, purse and other personal belongings when she was last seen in the 5500 block of Rain Tree Road, said Deputy Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Saturday, deputies responded to a call in that area and found Strickland’s body along a wood line.
