Showers are expected to taper off by the end of Tuesday, according to forecasters. Then, expect warmer weather.

“The rest of this week, it’s going to get hot,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said. “As the rain chances drop, the temperatures are going up.”

After Tuesday, there is a 20 percent chance of rain through the weekend, Minton said.
