More scattered showers and a few thunderstorms could pop up during the evening commute, making way for possible showers tonight with significant clouds.

Thursday will likely be mostly cloudy with possible scattered storms and showers in the afternoon, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said. The high Thursday is expected to be in the low 80s.

More rain possible this week: Nitz put the rain chances at 40 percent Thursday, but that rises to 60 percent by Friday. Check today's full weather report and track changes.

Temperatures a little cooler: Afternoon highs will be in the low 80s through Thursday, climbing to the mid-80s Friday. Lows will be in the 60s.

Weekend outlook: Nitz is predicting a 40 percent chance of rain Saturday, diminishing to 20 percent Sunday. Weekend highs will be in the mid-80s, with lows in the mid-60s.
