A fire at a Marietta apartment complex displaced residents in several units Friday, including some who had to escape through a second-story window.

Fire crews from Cobb County and Marietta responded to the fire at the Westminster Square Apartments, 2401 Windy Hill Road SE. Several residents were checked at the scene for smoke inhalation and one person was treated for an arm injury, but none had to be transported to hospitals.

The Red Cross was helping about 35 people in the 16-unit complex with emergency and financial assistance.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, fire officials said.
