A countywide drive by the Gwinnett Coalition is set to provide donations to more than 30 nonprofits in the metro Atlanta area.

Companies, churches, clubs and other organizations will host drive-thru collection sites across the county to benefit nonprofits as part of the annual Gwinnett Great Days of Service on Oct. 22-23. Everything from clothes and personal care items to shelf-stable food and diapers will be collected at the drop-off sites.

“In 2020, Great Days of Service partners collected over 100,000 essential items and the list of needs this year is even longer,” said Renée Byrd-Lewis, CEO and president of Gwinnett Coalition, in a press release. “We know, however, that Gwinnett will rise to the challenge and do what it takes to help take care of its own.”

There are still 14 nonprofits without a collector. Anyone interested in getting involved can visit www.gwinnettgreatdaysofservice.org to sign up to host a collection drive or volunteer at select sites.
