Clayton County Schools leaders on Wednesday said they will continue to ban fans in the stands during winter sports games.

The south metro Atlanta school system said it plans to prohibit fans at boys and girls basketball games, wrestling and swimming because of COVID-19 infections remain high in the community.

“District officials will continue monitoring data as received and will review the athletic event attendance strategy in early 2021,” the district said in a release.
