After gathering virtually in recent weeks because of coronavirus concerns, the Clayton County Board of Education will hold its last meeting of September publicly on Monday.

The governing body will hold its work session at 6 p.m. in the district’s Administration Complex at 1058 Fifth Avenue in Jonesboro. The public is invited, but will be required to undergo a temperature check as well as discuss their safety actions surrounding COVID-19. Social distancing will also be practiced.

Those who prefer to watch the meeting virtually may do so at the district’s website or on the school system’s YouTube page.
