Atlanta Public Schools lifted its order requiring schools and employees to shelter in place.

The district issued an updated statement at about 11:18 a.m. Monday amid storms that have been battering Fulton County.

“The tornado warning has been lifted. All students and staff should resume normal operations,” the district said on Twitter.

APS issued its shelter in place order about 30 minutes before.
