The Atlanta City Council meeting to decide on funding for the planned training center was still hearing public comment just before 8:30 p.m. Monday. It remained unclear when the council might vote on the project.

Just before 8 p.m., about 126 speakers had been called, less than half of the 360 who were registered to speak.
