A Lawrenceville man has been identified as the person found dead of a gunshot wound to the head at Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in Friday night.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified the man as Gary Mincy, 50. He was found inside a car in northwest Atlanta.
Witnesses told Channel 2 Action News that they saw as many as three people firing into the vehicle before fleeing to a nearby apartment building.
Atlanta police have released a 3:39-minute surveillance video from a nearby convenience store and parking lot and are asking anyone with information on the people or vehicles to contact them.

People do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
