Within 20 minutes across a 3-mile span, Atlanta police responded to two pedestrian robberies and two deadly shootings last Saturday morning.

Six days later, police have linked the two robberies to the same suspects, Capt. Michael O’Conner said Friday. And while there’s no known link between the robberies and the homicides, investigators can’t rule it out, he said.

“We are looking for anybody who witnessed, or has heard anything or who talked to anyone who can provide any substantial information into any of three crimes,” O’Conner said at a news conference.

Video obtained by a gas station shows four persons of interest, and police need the public's help to identify the men, O'Conner said.

Around 2:30 a.m. March 14, officers were called to a pedestrian robbery at North Highland and Los Angeles avenues, according to police. About 11 minutes later, officers were called to a second pedestrian robbery in the 500 block of Highland Avenue, police said. No serious injuries were reported, but the victims were robbed of wallets and cell phones by gunmen.

The, five minutes later, police were called to a double shooting in Little 5 Points, in the 400 block of Moreland Avenue. Chaitanyalila Kelsey, 32, and Joseph Hruska, 33, were both killed.

Anyone with information on any of the three crimes is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
