Two women have been arrested and a warrant has been issued for another suspect in the April slaying of a Bartow County man.

Stephanie Fawn Gardner, 34, of Cartersville, and Elizabeth Morgan Kelley, 24, of Acworth, were charged Friday with party to the crime of felony murder, according to the Bartow sheriff’s department. The victim, Robert Ashley Carr, 36, of White, had been shot multiple times in the upper torso by a small-caliber handgun.

The sheriff’s department say they will release more information about the third suspect upon arrest.
