AJC investigation: Jonesboro psychiatrist linked to 36 patient deaths

If the allegations are true, Jonesboro psychiatrist Narendra Nagareddy may be the deadliest doctor in Georgia.

Law enforcement officials say he may be responsible for the deaths of 36 patients.

Yet as the death toll mounted, none of the state safeguards designed to protect the public managed to stop Nagareddy, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution investigation found.
