Atlanta police are asking for the public’s help in finding a circus acrobat reported missing earlier this week.

Wei Cao, a performer with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday and missed a performance later that day.

Cao, 25, is a Chinese citizen and has “no known mental or physical deficiencies that would prevent her from returning to the circus on her own,” according to a statement from Atlanta police.

The circus performed at Philips Arena earlier this month and has shows scheduled through Sunday at the Gwinnett Arena.

Cao is due to leave metro Atlanta with the circus on Sunday, police said. She is 5-foot-3, weighs 100 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Cao’s whereabouts is asked to call the Atlanta police Adult Missing Person Squad at 404-546-4235.
