Gwinnett County police have arrested a Duluth man in a double shooting Tuesday night that killed his 62-year-old wife and injured her out-of-town relative.

Bryan Miller, 53, was taken into custody following the shooting at the Reflections on Sweetwater Apartments on Sweetwater Road. Officers arrived at the gated complex shortly before 10 p.m. and found the two female victims inside building 6.

Gracie Miller was dead at the scene. According to Gwinnett police, the Millers were separated at the time of her death.

A 44-year-old relative of Gracie Miller’s who was visiting from New York was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police spokeswoman Hideshi Valle said.

Bryan Miller was booked into the Gwinnett jail on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a gun during the commission of a felony. He is a resident of the Reflections on Sweetwater apartments.
