A suspect remains at large after one man was fatally shot and another was injured Friday afternoon when gunfire erupted at a home in Gwinnett County, authorities said.

Multiple 911 calls flooded in around 5 p.m., alerting Snellville police about the shooting in the 2900 block of Summit View Court, GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said Sunday. At the home, a man was found on the front porch shot to death, Miles said. His name was not released.

Another man was found inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound, she added. He remains in the hospital in critical condition.

The GBI was asked to investigate the homicide and will be leading the case. Authorities did not release any information on a suspect, but Snellville police said Friday evening that “there is no indication at this time that anyone in the area is in danger.”

The relationship between the two shot was not provided.
