Roswell is conducting a 5-day public comment period for a substantial amendment to its 2019 Annual Action Plan. The public comment period begins Tuesday, Sept. 21 and concludes at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27. The amendment will include reallocation of funding for two Round 1 Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus projects.

The city is proposing to reallocate $60,000 from HomeStretch Inc.’s afterschool assistance program to emergency rental assistance and utility payments for HomeStretch residents impacted by the pandemic.

The city will also reallocate a surplus $2,244.26 from the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department’s air filtration systems to virtual programming for seniors impacted by the pandemic.
