Roswell is currently accepting applications for Community Development Block Grant funding for the 2022 program year. The city anticipates $450,000 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Roswell will allocate 10% or $45,000, to administration and planning of the program. The remaining $405,000 will be made available to the public through the grant application process.

The city’s CDBG program is designed to benefit low- and moderate-income citizens (as defined by HUD) by “providing decent housing and a suitable living environment as well as expanding economic opportunities.”

Eligible activities range from housing rehabilitation to public services and may include economic development and infrastructure projects.

Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. on Nov. 30.
