Milton Police are joining with The Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police and the Georgia Sheriff’s Association, WSB-TV, Caring For Others, NOBLE, and the Georgia Motor Trucking Association to host the Convoy of Care to provide assistance to individuals in Louisiana hit hard by Hurricane Ida.

The Milton Police Department lobby, 13690 Highway 9, will be a drop-off location for much needed supplies 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14. Items needed include personal hygiene kits, batteries, cleaning supplies, box fans, flashlights, heavy duty extension cords and laundry detergent.

On Tuesday, Sept. 14, officers will take donations to a designated drop off location to be shipped to Louisiana.
