Keep North Fulton Beautiful is challenging the residents of Johns Creek and Sandy Springs during its GA Gives Day Litter-a-Thon from Nov. 1 through 29.

Participants will pick up litter while raising funds for KNFB’s environmental events, programs, and services including household hazardous waste events, the Adopt-a-Road Program, the recycling center, environmental education programs, and river cleanups.

On Nov. 30, Georgia Gives Day, donations will be collected from participants’ pledge sponsors, and two grand-prize winners will be determined, one from the Johns Creek Litter-a-Thon, and one from the Sandy Springs Litter-a-Thon. KNFB’s goal is to reach $1,000.

The grand prize includes a bag of locally and freshly-roasted, sustainably sourced coffee beans from North Fulton’s Peach Coffee Roasters, a $10 gift card to Peach Coffee Roasters, and an insulated canteen to enjoy it all.
