To help businesses continue operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, Johns Creek has extended their Temporary Outdoor Operations permit through Aug. 31, 2022. The permit allows restaurants to continue outdoor food service within guidelines.

Food preparation must be completed inside the restaurant kitchen facilities. New outdoor operations cannot exceed total occupancy originally approved for the location. Temporary outdoor operations must be placed on an interior sidewalk or parking space unless an accessible path is available.

Restaurants can have no more 4 tents with a maximum tent size of 10-foot by 10-foot. New outdoor operations cannot interfere with normal vehicle traffic, including fire department access to the building and access to fire hydrants and other firefighting equipment.
