In the mail this week, Milton’s annual property tax bills

Milton is mailing annual property tax bills this week.

Property owners have until Dec. 15 to pay online, by mail, or at city hall, 2006 Heritage Walk.

Pay on online at www.municipalonlinepayments.com/miltonga, click on the words, “Pay Property Taxes Now.” From there, fill in the fields and follow the prompts.

Payment with a credit card online will incur a 3% fee or pay with an eCheck for an additional $1.75 service fee.

Property owners who have not received a tax bill by Oct. 31 should contact the Finance Department at 678-242-2500. Late payments are subject to a 5% penalty every 120 days after the original due date.
