In a unique collaboration to fight crime, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is working to form partnerships with local police agencies in all 15 cities in the county.

Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat recently spoke with, and deputized, officers from the Alpharetta Police Department.

Now that they are deputized, these officers are empowered with the ability to make arrests anywhere in Fulton County, not just their immediate jurisdiction.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office believes “law enforcement is stronger together and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office will continue to build relationships with each agency in the county in order to keep our communities safe.”
