Architectural plans for a proposed warehouse building were approved by unanimous vote of the Locust Grove City Council at its Oct. 4 regular meeting. The structure planned for 2855 Hwy. 42 South, on the east side of the highway between Pine Grove Road and Colvin Drive, is a single-story building encompassing approximately 369,300 square feet with concrete on all four sides as well as metal roofing. The plan for the property includes truck docks, trailer storage and car parking with sufficient driveway access to the site. The council acts as the city’s architectural review board as part of the permitting process for new structures or major renovations. Information: locustgrove-ga.gov.
