Officials with the Henry County school district announced Oct. 15 that it was moving from Level 4 to Level 3 in its COVID mitigation program. Full details of Level 3 requirements can be found on the district’s website, but perhaps the most noticeable difference is that the district is moving away from its mask requirement to a stance of masks being strongly recommended. Additionally, field trips will resume and capacity limitations on outdoor events will be lessened. However, enhanced signage, cleaning protocols, regular air filtration cleaning, accessibility of hand sanitizer, and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces will remain. Information: henry.k12.ga.us.
